Office 2010 Pro Plus: The Ultimate Productivity Suite for Professionals

This article describes how Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) and Microsoft TechNet subscription customers can enable Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 to run on a server on which Office 2010 was installed and activated and on which the Terminal Services (Remote Desktop Services) server role was later added.

If the Terminal Services (Remote Desktop Services) role is already enabled on the server, OEM keys are not valid, and you must use the special Terminal Services product key to install Office 2010 on the server as retail.

Office 2010 Pro Plus

As promised, Microsoft made available Office 2010 Professional Plus for download for all MSDN subscribers yesterday. If you have a subscription, you can grab either the x64 (64-bit) or x86 (32-bit) which are both around the same size (700 megs.)

Hi, I have problems with my MS Office 2010 Pro Plus each time I try running it. An alert that says, 'to run this application you must first install one of the following versions of NET Framework: v4.0.30319 contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the NET Framework' appears. I have already downloaded Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer), but in installing it this message came up: .NET Framework 4 has not been installed because: Fatal error during installation. Can you assist.

If you need a product key, you can still purchase a fresh Office 2010 version, either with download option, or with installation media. These old versions are quite affordable now. Please check out the following list of offers from Amazon, eBay etc. I already tried to find good deals for various editions. Sometimes the product is a lot cheaper in another language. In that case, you can use the product key to activate an installer in English (or any different language).

So I'm having a heated discussion with 4 developers who are adamant that Word in Office 2010 Professional Plus is different than Word in Office 2010 Standard - They can't seem to point to a single instance that I can read up about but they are all somehow sure.I pointed out there are over 6 different editions of Office 2010 and Word that comes with them is all the same, sure 1 might have a extra checkbox over then other to integrate with the additional software shipped with it but Word is Word is WordNo?

The only version I know of that is different is the Click-to-Run Office 2010 Starter. You can't do remote app executions with the click to run. I think with every other version of 2010, they pretty much the same

yeah I thought so guys, thanks - trying to spend professional plus keys on office workstations and standard keys on the VMs for development. Sadly this developer won this round but it won't happen again until they come up with some evidence.

Microsoft Office 2010, including the Professional Plus 2010 Suite, comes with several software programs intended to perform many tasks. The range of programs in the Office Suite fits well in a business, scholastic, or home environment. You can create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more with this software from Microsoft.

The new Microsoft Office 2010 available on eBay comes with a variety of programs designed to perform a range of duties. Among the programs included in the used and new Microsoft software packages you can find are:

Each consumer receives one license when purchasing Microsoft Office Suite 2010, but this does not mean the user is automatically limited to one computer. While the license does not afford unlimited installations, installing the program on a desktop and a laptop may be possible. With the special Office Home and Student version, installing on up to three devices is possible.

Microsoft Office 2010 works on two different platforms: IA-32 and x64. IA-32 versions are compatible with operating systems Windows XP onward to Windows 10 as well as Windows Server 2003 onward to Windows Server 2016.

Office 2010 is certainly the best Office suite out there. However, compared to Office 2007 it has one major drawback: Like Vista and Windows 7, Office 2010 has to be activated. However, Office 2010 behaves a little different than Windows if it is not activated. Rearming Office 2010, that is resetting the grace period, works similar as rearming Windows.

Volume editions of Office 2010 don't have an RFM. However, Office will start nagging users with messages after 25 days. You can just imagine how many helpdesk calls it will provoke if you don't ensure that Office 2010 has been activated during this grace period.

However, it might be difficult to activate Office 2010 during the grace period if you deploy a pre-installed Office with an OS image. The grace period begins immediately after you installed Office 2010 on your master PC. If you have to perform other configurations before you create the master image, then it is quite possible that 25 days is too short. You also have to take into account that it might take some time until Office finds a KMS host or until you activate it manually.

This is where Office 2010 rearm comes in. This features allows you reset the grace timer to 30 days grace. If you rearm Office right before you create the OS master image, you can be sure that you have the full 25 days before users will bothered with Office activation notifications or before the retail edition goes into Reduced Functionality Mode after 30 days.

You will find some complicated instructions on the Web of how to rearm Office 2010. Most of these articles were written before Office 2010 was released. There are also third party tools that allow you to rearm Office 2010. However, I recommend following Microsoft's instructions. This topic is too sensitive to rely on third party tools.

To rearm Office 2010, you only have to run ospprearm.exe in %installdir%\%Program Files%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform from an elevated command prompt. "%Program Files%" has to be replaced with %Program Files (x86)% if you installed Office 2010 32-bit on Windows 64-bit.

Office 2010 rearm could also be useful if you installed Office 2010 Trial. The Office 2010 Professional Plus Trial comes with a special activation code that will allow you to test Office 2010 for 60 days. There are reports on the web indicating that you can also rearm the trial version of Office 2010. Office 2010 Trial indeed comes with ospprearm.exe. However I doubt that rearming will work after you used the trial activation code because rearming makes only sense with an Office installation that hasn't been activated.

You can run Office 2010 Trial without activating it but every time you launch the Office 2010 Activation Wizard will pop up. If you cancel this dialog, you can continue using the Office application. I suppose this will only work for 30 days. If you have experience with rearming Office 2010 Trial, please let me know.

Let me start by saying I am new to BatchPatch. I am trying to uninstall Office 2010 remotely on multiple devices within our domain. I am working on some testing and this is what I have so far created. I am trying to use a Job Queue process step one is to move a folder to the root of the C drive and then step two runs a remote command.

Since its release, Microsoft Office has been the leading office suite for home, student, and business. Microsoft now boasts over 1.5 billion users worldwide, which makes Microsoft the dominant force powerful business suites. Microsoft Office features a set of flagship products designed to make your work easier and more professional. These flagship products include Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, OneNote, and Outlook. These applications empower business users, students, and home users to experience a boost in productivity and the ability to get more done in the most efficient way possible. Microsoft Office is available for PC and for Mac users.

The idea here is to offer an edition of the product aimed at small business owners or home business users. For big business and corporations, of course, there is Office Professional and Professional Plus. Office Professional Plus is an integrated set of Microsoft applications for business or enterprise. Office Professional Plus includes all of the programs in Office Standard (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word), plus you Publisher, Access, and Skype for Business.

Microsoft Home and Business - The Home and Business edition of Microsoft Office includes the flagship core products, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. It includes Outlook instead of OneNote, with the assumption that powerful email management and features is more important to the business owner than taking extensive notes. Outlook allows you to track and manage appointments and projects effectively, plus you get the superior email management.

Microsoft Office Standard - The standard version of Microsoft Office brings you the 3 core apps, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus you get Outlook and Publisher. This can be looked at as an extended version of Office Home and Business. Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing application that allows for powerful design layouts of many different types of documents from newsletters to posters. This version of Microsoft Office, however, is only available through volume licensing. This means that the standard version of Office is primarily going to be used for schools and businesses that purchase bulk licenses.

The Home and Business edition of Microsoft office 2019 is very similar to Home and Business. It adds Outlook to the picture, making it an ideal choice for small business owners. All of the core apps are here too. This is a great midpoint between the home and professional business editions of Office, which is why it is perfect for small business owners who are looking for contact management in addition to the core products.

Office Professional 2019 includes core applications plus Outlook, Publisher, and Access. Uses Windows Installer method for offline installation. This is where you get into the power needed for corporations and large businesses. Access is a database management system that provides businesses with the means for storing lots of customer data and more. This is only available in the Professional editions. 2ff7e9595c
